A collection of photographs created through Whispers of Valencia — private time in the city shaped by atmosphere, attention and the people moving through it. These images come from walks and encounters across Valencia: streets, light, pauses, movement and small interruptions that become part of the story.

As a photographer, I’m used to creating. Guiding. Directing. Building a frame. But this project is the opposite. Here, I don’t create anything. I just witness. People passing by. Moments that disappear a second later. Small, quiet fragments of life in Valencia. Nothing staged. Nothing repeated. Only what was there — and then gone. This is my way of seeing the city. Unfiltered. Uncontrolled. Alive.

I’ve always felt that a single portrait is not enough to understand a person. “The Anatomy of a Life” is a visual exploration of identity through the objects we choose to keep. Not just what we own, but what we carry with us — across time, across countries, across different versions of ourselves. By combining portraits, body fragments, personal objects, and lived space, this project builds a layered narrative where memory is not static, but alive — something we touch, move, and live with every day. It is a story about rebuilding a life without losing your roots.

The Market Is Closed. Life Isn’t - is a Sunday photo story from Valencia, created during the first PhotoHunt challenge. What began as a plan to photograph the vibrant Mercado Central unexpectedly turned into an observation of life unfolding around its closed doors. Through fleeting moments, movement, conversations, textures, and quiet human rituals, the series explores a simple idea: even when places fall silent, life continues to flow around them in new forms. Against the stillness of Valencia’s historic architecture, people become the moving pulse of the city — carrying curiosity, emotion, routine, hope, and connection through an endless urban rhythm.
